Republic Plaza | Brookfield Properties

High-rise architecture & workplace interiors project - Denver, Colorado

  • The project required photographing the Republic Plaza, the tallest building in Colorado, from the adjacent rooftop of another high-rise. Using both traditional camera and drone, we captured the building's impressive scale. After the completion of a major lobby renovation and the addition of a new boutique bar, we returned the following year to photograph the stunning interiors. The exterior shots emphasized the building’s height and design, while the interior photography showcased the renovated spaces, including lifestyle shots featuring staff and patrons for scale and humanization.

  • Accessing the adjacent building rooftop required navigating coordination with building management and providing certificates of insurance. Shooting from a windy high-rise roof posed challenges, particularly with drone flight, as we had to ensure safety while avoiding passing news helicopters at twilight. Inside, coordinating with building management to shoot in the busy lobby—filled with tenants, guests, and a lively bar—required careful timing. We also worked with bar staff to achieve lifestyle shots and gracefully approached bar patrons to participate in the shoot, offering a drink and securing model releases.

The production was a great success across all levels.
