As a Denver-based photographer, I traveled to Dallas to meet with the design team and leadership at the HKS U.S. headquarters prior to the photo shoot dates.
The 3-day production involved collaborating with multiple architects and interior designers on-site to photograph the hospital’s architecture, interior spaces, landscape, and lighting design. I also directed models, including minors, to integrate seamlessly into the shots.

Managing logistics for airline travel with photo production equipment was one challenge. The project also had a large shot list and tight schedule, requiring coordination with an excellent design team. Their collaborative spirit made navigating the various interior and exterior spaces smooth, and we worked seamlessly together, utilizing models—including children—to showcase scale and human elements.
This project was later featured on the cover of Healthcare Design magazine.
